Welcome to the account deletion page for The BuddyUp app. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please follow the steps outlined below. We are committed to maintaining your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information.
Steps to Request Account Deletion
1. Open The BU app2. Tap on the on the profile icon on the right lower corner of the screen.3.Tap the 3 dots on the upper right corner to access the app settings.4. Scroll to the bottom of the settings menu and select "Delete account."5. Choose a reason for deleting your account from the options provided.6. Tap "Delete Account"
Delete Data Request
To initiate the data deletion process, enter your first and last name used to sign up to the app. Enter the email or phone number associated with your account. If you signed up with Facebook, Google or Apple, simple enter the platform in the message section.In the Message section, enter "Delete Data Request"
Upon confirming your deletion request, we will permanently delete your account and all associated data from our servers. This includes your personal profile, usage data, and any other stored information. Please note that some data may be retained for a legal or regulatory period, as specified in our [Privacy Policy](.
While we will delete your account data from our active servers immediately, some data may be retained in our backup systems for a period of up to 90 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.
